The first solar eclipse (Suriya Grahanam) of 2020 occurs on the 21st of June, 2020.

The Nakshatras that are affected by the Grahanam are: Rohini, Mrigashīrsha, Thiruvathirai, Chithirai, Avittam

This is the mantra to be recited on the day of Surya Grahanam (28 or 108 times):

Indronalo danda dharašcha rukshaha prachetaso vãyu kubera isãha |

Majjanma rukshe mama rãši samsthe argoparãgam samayanthu sarve ||
